Mills scores 29 for Aussie Boomers in decisive win

Former Saint Mary’s guards Patrick Mills and Matthew Dellavedova were finally on display at the same time as the Australian National Team claimed a decisive 93-63 win over a side that consisted of college all-stars from the Pac-12 Conference last night.

Mills scored 29 points on 10-of-18 shooting, while Dellavedova made his first competitive appearance since winning the NBA title last month with the Cleveland Cavaliers.  One of the highlights of the game was a touch pass from Dellavedova that set up Mills for a four-point play after he was fouled beyond the 3-point arc.

The Boomers have won each of their tuneup games so far in advance of the Rio Olympics.  The team now travels to South America South America for a series of warm-up games before August.
