Mills shares his heritage with Boomers teammates

Former Saint Mary’s star and current San Antonio Spurs guard Patrick Mills recently organized a bonding experience visit for his National Team teammates to Uluru, Australia to share his aboriginal heritage.  While on the trip, the Boomers introduced a basketball court, built with the support of the NBPA Foundation, for the surrounding small population of around 300 people.

Following the trip, Patty spoke with Jared Zwerling of the NBPA about the life-changing experience.

“Basketball has given me a chance to be able to represent my country and my indigenous heritage, and give back to the community by bringing basketball to them.” – Patrick Mills.
