Hunter, Emerging Boomers win 3rd straight

Saint Mary’s center Jordan Hunter and and Emerging Boomers national team from Australia finished the first half of its trip to China with a third straight win after posting an 87-60 victory over Cameroon in Nanning, China.

The team defeated Serbia and the Liaoning Leopards in its first two games.  In the opener against Serbia, Hunter scored 10 points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds in 20 minutes in a starting role.

The Boomers travel to Shenyang for the second leg of the tour where they will play from July 1-3 before returning home.
