Former Saint Mary’s golfer Ben Geyer opens play today on the PGA Tour Canada’s MacKenzie Tour at the Freedom 55 Financial Open, a 72 hole stoke play event at Point Grey Golf & Country Club in Vancouver, B.C.

The Arbuckle, Calif. native joins the 156-golfer field in competing for the $175,000 total purse and the $31,500 winner’s prize.  In addition, the players will compete for a top position on the season-ending Order of Merit and look to gain access to the Tour in 2017.
