Gaels participate in WCC Kids Day ahead of tournament

The Saint Mary’s baseball team participated Wednesday in the West Coast Conference‘s free Kids Clinic at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton, Calif. The Gaels, along with BYU, Gonzaga and Pepperdine, all acted as instructors for a group of kids from ages 8-12, teaching them skills in hitting, outfield and infield defense, base running and more.

Later in the evening, the Gaels also signed autographs and answered baseball questions from attendees. The teams also helped lead a home run derby by the participants.
