SMC hoops season tickets surpass 50 percent renewal rate

After watching the Gaels post a record-setting season that included a program high 29 wins and their third regular-season WCC title in six years, Saint Mary’s men’s basketball fans are already showing their excitement for next season.

More than 50 percent of the program’s season ticket holders have expressed their support by renewing their season tickets just a little more than a month after the team’s final game in the quarterfinals of the NIT.

The Gaels did not graduate a single player off last year’s team and are rated by most experts to enter next year in the national top 25.  In addition, Coach Randy Bennett’s side welcomes three talented freshmen who are expected to make a strong contribution to keeping the Gaels among the top programs in the country.

Until midnight tomorrow (Saturday), season ticket holders who renew their seats online will receive a discount off last year’s price for the same seats.  Between May 1 and June 30, prices will be frozen at last year’s rates.  After July 1, there will be a slight increase in season ticket prices.

In addition, deposits are being accepted for new season ticket sales at the same prices that area available to current ticket holders with the same deadlines.
