Rain Adjusts Utah Baseball Series

Expected rain this weekend has caused the shuffling of this weekend’s Saint Mary’s baseball series versus visiting Utah at Louis Guisto Field. The series is still planned to be a three-game series, but Sunday’s single game has been folded into Saturday as a doubleheader.

Friday’s single game will start at 2 p.m. as originally scheduled. Saturday’s new doubleheader format will start at 10 a.m. instead of the original single game at 1 p.m., with the second game following 30 minutes after. There will be no game on Sunday, with forecasts calling for a 90 percent chance of rain. See the rest of the Gaels’ schedule by clicking here.

The Gaels have not played a home game since Feb. 21 and will play at Louis Guisto Field for the first time in 19 days on Friday. Tickets are still available for the Utah series and can be purchased online on SMCGaels.com or by calling the Saint Mary’s ticket office at 925-631-GoTx. Season tickets, group tickets, multi-game plans and single game tickets are available for purchase.
