WCC hoops championships on television

The West Coast Conference public relations department distributed a story yesterday outlining the comprehensive television broadcast coverage of its 2016 basketball championships, set for today through Tuesday at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

For the third straight year, all 17 men’s and women’s tournament games can be seen on national television as well as online through TheW.tv or WatchESPN.  Saint Mary’s women’s games will be available via GaelVision on SMGaels.com.

ESPN Networks will once again televise six games: two men’s quarterfinals on ESPN2, one men’s semifinal on ESPN and the other on ESPN2, the women’s championship on ESPNU, and men’s championship on ESPN. Each of these games can be seen on-line on WatchESPN.com.

An outstanding group of broadcasters will be in Las Vegas to cover the men’s semifinals and final. Veteran play-by-play man Brent Musberger will call the action with expert analysis from Naismith Hall-of-Famer Dick Vitale and Fran Fraschilla. Talent for the men’s quarterfinals include Roxy Bernstein, Brad Daugherty, Steve Quis, Casey Jacobsen and Kelli Tennant.
