Saint Mary’s College baseball head coach Eric Valenzuela will be a featured speaker at the Wheelhouse Academy of Baseball coaches clinic on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Richmond, Calif. Valenzuela, who’s background includes serving as pitching coach for multiple NCAA Tournament teams at both San Diego State and University of San Diego, will speak to attendees about the finer points of coaching pitching.
Thursday’s Wheelhouse Academy of Baseball coaches clinic will feature eight different coaches from the NCAA Division I, Division II, junior college and high school levels speaking about a wide array of aspects about the game. The Wheelhouse Academy of Baseball is a non-profit organization with the aim of providing kids of all races, genders and income levels an opportunity to receive highly skilled education and training in the art of baseball and softball within a positive environment.
