As the 2015 comes to an end, Gaels new and old have much to celebrate. While there were many deserving stories and achievements, these are the top four.
- Patty Mills was honored as one of the best athletes and representatives of Saint Mary’s and had his #13 retired (Story and video).
- Under Armour and Saint Mary’s partnered together to in an all-sport agreement, becoming the first university in the west to do so (Story and video).
- The Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center opened its doors to the entire student body (Story and video).
- Club Rugby defended the crown and won its second consecutive national championship (Story and video).

All of these moments will be remembered for years to come, but only one can be the best of the past year. Check for the results of your vote on January 1st.
Of course, 2015 has not ended just yet. Both Gaels Basketball teams face off against Brigham Young University. The women play on the road at 12pm Pacific and the men close out the year at home at 8pm on ESPNU.
