Baseball Adds New Speaker System

Just in time for its Navy/Red World Series, the Saint Mary’s College baseball team recently installed a brand-new speaker system at Louis Guisto Field.

The new speaker system was donated by former Saint Mary’s player Martin Agosta. It included about 500 feet of new wiring and four brand new projectable speakers mounted to each of the four poles making up the Louis Guisto field backstop.

Adding the new speaker system to Louis Guisto Field, generously donated by former Gael and current San Francisco Giants minor leaguer Martin Agosta, is an exciting step forward. It will add excitement and enjoyment to our players and fans. Thanks again Martin! — SMC Head Coach Eric Valenzuela

The Gaels begin their Fall World Series today (Thursday) and play the three-game series through Saturday. Get more information about the series here. Saint Mary’s begins its 2016 regular season on Feb. 19 versus Seattle University. See the Gaels’ full 2016 schedule here.
