Former Saint Mary’s guard Paul McCoy represented American Samoa at the 2015 Pacific Games recently in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. According to tournament scoresheets, the Portland, Ore. native averaged 16.5 points per game (including outbursts of 22 and 32 points in the final two games), but his side were able to manage just one victory in six games at the event.
Guam, featuring former Utah State forward Tai Wesley, earned the gold medal with a 78-61 win over Fiji in the final.
