Delly & the Cavs even NBA playoff series

Former Saint Mary’s guard Matthew Dellavedova dished out 9 assists and scored 9 points to help the Cleveland Cavaliers even its NBA playoff series against the Chicago Bulls at one game apiece last night with a 106-91 victory.

The two teams return to action Friday (5 p.m., ESPN) and Sunday (12:30 p.m., ABC) in Chicago.  The series returns to Cleveland on Tuesday.

In 67 regular season games, Dellavedova averaged 4.8 points and 3 assists per game as the Cavaliers won the NBA’s Central Division title with a 53-29 record.
