Holt ready to Charge into D-League playoffs

Former Saint Mary’s guard Stephen Holt and the Canton Charge face Sioux Falls in the quarterfinals of the NBA D-League Playoffs tomorrow at 4 p.m. (Pacific) on ESPNU.  The winner of the best-of-three series will play the winner of the Maine Red Claws vs. the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

The Charge concluded the regular season with a 31-19 overall record and finished four games behind Atlantic Division champions Maine in the Eastern Conference standings.  The win total was the most in franchise history.

Holt, a native of Portland, Ore., started 44 of 49 appearances and averaged 10.9 points, 3.1 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.  He shot .804 from the free throw line and was second on the team in steals with 1.35 per game.
