Waldow earns league player of the non-conference

Saint Mary’s forward Brad Waldow, the only men’s basketball player in the country to average more than 20 points and 10 rebounds per game, was named the top player in the West Coast Conference for the non-conference portion of the season by CollegeHoopsDaily.com.

The Shingle Springs, Calif. native earned 1st team all-WCC honors last year and is a preseason selection this season.  He is on the Watch List for the Lou Henson Award, which is presented annually to the division I mid-major player of the year.

CollegeHoopsDaily.com listed the following players on its WCC list for the 2014 non-conference season:

F: Brad Waldow (Saint Mary’s)
F: Stacy Davis (Pepperdine)
C: Volodymyr Gerun (Portland)
