Geyer enters final day of Web.com Tour Qualifying

Former Saint Mary’s golfer Ben Geyer enters tomorrow’s final round at the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament at PGA National in a tie for 28th place at 8-under par.

Every player in the field has earned, at a minimum, conditional status on the Web.com Tour in 2015 by virtue of getting to the Qualifying Tournament Finals.  Players who finish inside the top 10 (and ties) will be exempt until the third reshuffle. Those who place inside the top 45 (and ties) will be exempt until the second reshuffle.

Approximately 1,200 golfers entered Q-School this fall, with some having to succeed in up to three previous stages of qualifying.

Bright idea for basketball halftime entertainment: Gael golfers pitch wiffle balls into baskets from half court off astroturf. Good training, too. Go Gaels
