Comcast Hometown Network to televise next 3 SMC hoops games

Thursday’s 7 p.m. Denver at Saint Mary’s men’s basketball game will mark the first of three straight live telecasts of Gaels basketball throughout Northern & parts of Central California on cable station “Comcast Hometown Network.”

CHN is located in standard definition on digital channel 104 on Comcast cable outlets throughout Northern/Central California.  The channel is not available on DirecTV or Dish, nor it is available outside of the Northern California viewing area.

For SMC fans throughout the world, the three CHN telecasts will be streamed live for free via GaelVision on

Veteran Bay Area broadcaster Dave Lewis will call the play-by-play with former Saint Mary’s baseball student-athlete (and announcer) Alex Jensen providing color analysis.

The UC Irvine and Cal Poly games will also be televised live by CHN.

Saint Mary’s will appear on television 22 times this season, while the remaining seven games will be streamed live for free via GaelVision on and on the WCC’s digital network
