McConnell leads team to wild Eurocup victory

Former Saint Mary’s guard and West Coast Conference Player of the Year Mickey McConnell led Telekom Baskets Bonn from a 17-point deficit to a wild 81-78 Eurocup home victory over Paris Levallois yesterday.

McConnell scored 9 total points in the game, including a stretch where he scored 7 unanswered points during the home side’s furious second half rally.  He added his final basket as Bonn closed out the game with another 7-0 run to claim the victory.
