Geyer is in the hunt at eGolf Tour event in Mississippi

Former Saint Mary’s golfer Ben Geyer fired rounds of 68-66 for a 10-under par 134 after two rounds at the Island View Casino Championship, the second of two events that make up the eGolf Tour’s Million Dollar Championship Series.

The Arbuckle, Calif. native raced around Gulfport, Mississippi’s Windance Country Club with eight birdies and two bogeys today.  His 14 birdies over the first 36 holes was the second-highest total in the tournament.

He is tied for eighth overall in the 140 golfer field.  The top 60 golfers after today’s second round, who all finished at 5-under or better, made the cut to advance to Friday’s third round.
