The national champion Saint Mary’s rugby team continues to rake in the awards as several members of both the title-winning 15s and the highly placed Sevens squads were named All-America performers by USA Rugby.
From the 15s team that beat Life University in the Division I-A championship at Stanford, forwards Michael O’Neill, Kyle Petersen, Ryan Pratt and Dino Waldren earned first team All-America nods. Backs Garrett Brewer, championship match MVP Cooper Maloney and Kingsley McGowan also earned first team status. Dylan Audsley and Joey Reavey each earned honorable mention.
Three Gaels earned All-America status in Sevens, with Brewer and Maloney landing a spot on the first team. Reavey rounded out the double-award winners with a place on the honorable mention list.
