Jones leads team to Dominican league title series

Former Saint Mary’s forward Rob Jones and his Titanes del Distrito Nacional side are in the championship final of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto, the top professional league in Dominican Republic.  Titanes dropped the first game of the championship series 89-74 on Sunday and the two teams return to action for game 2 on Wednesday.

According to statistics on the LNB website, Jones averages 18.0 points, 6.9 rebounds per game and is connecting on 53 percent of his field goal attempts in 20 games since joining Titanes.
