Holt to play in NBA Summer League with Atlanta

Former Saint Mary’s guard Stephen Holt announced via Twitter last week he will participate in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with the Atlanta Hawks.  Over the weekend, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ran a similar report.

According to the AJC, Holt reportedly will be joined by Michael Bramos, Eric Dawson, John Jenkins, Mike Muscala, Lamar Patterson, Adreian Payne, Casey Prather, Trevor Releford, Dennis Schroder, Walter Tavares and Travis Wear.

Holt recently graduated from Saint Mary’s and finished his career among the top players in school history.  He was a first-team all-West Coast Conference and NABC all-district selection as a senior.  He averaged more than 31 minutes per game in 127 career appearances.

According to the NBA website, the Samsung NBA Summer League starts on July 11 at 1 p.m. (Pacific) in the first of 67 games to be contested over the course of the 11-day event at the Thomas & Mack Center and COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

NBA TV’s coverage of the Samsung NBA Summer League will begin in COX Pavilion on July 11 with a four-game slate. The network will televise all 67 games, including a total of 38 games live during the event, including the Championship Game on July 21. In addition, fans will again be able to watch, via a subscription-based package, every Samsung NBA Summer League game live at http://nba.com/summerleague and on the NBA Summer League app.
