Mills shows class in NBA Finals victory for the Spurs

To say Patty Mills (@Patty_Mills) was trending last night would be an understatement.  The former Saint Mary’s guard scored 11 points in a five minute span during a 14-point third quarter en route to a 17 point effort to help the San Antonio Spurs to a 104-87 Game 4 victory over the Miami Heat.

The win clinched the NBA championship for the Spurs, making Patty only the third Australian to win a NBA title (teammate Aron Baynes is the 4th) and the second former SMC player to earn a NBA ring.

Mills will join nearly 100 former SMC players at the Gaels All-Star Classic & Alumni Weekend June 29 at McKeon Pavilion.  Click here for tickets and information.
