The Saint Mary’s basketball community is still abuzz about the performance of Patrick Mills in last night’s 14-point performance in the San Antonio Spurs’ 107-86 win at Miami in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Mills is the second Saint Mary’s player to appear in a NBA Finals (Tom Meschery played for the San Francisco Warriors in 1964) and the first to appear in two. With one more Spurs victory, he would become the first Gael win earn a NBA championship.
