Geyer, Robinson advance to NCGA match play quarters

Former Saint Mary’s golfer Ben Geyer and senior Cody Robinson advanced to the quarterfinals at the 110th Annual NCGA Amateur Match Play Championship at Spyglass Hill Golf Course in Pebble Beach, Calif.

Geyer defeated San Jose State sophomore Cody Blick 1-up in the round of 32 to advance to a quarterfinal matchup against Jeff Murphy at 7 a.m..  Robinson knocked-off Matt Cohn 4&3 and will play top-seeded Alex Franklin tomorrow at 7:15 a.m.
