Gaels finally arrive in Australia

After more than 21 hours and 7,800 miles of travel, the Saint Mary’s men’s basketball team arrived in Sydney today for their nearly 2-week tour of Australia.  The Gaels left campus late afternoon yesterday and flew from SFO to LAX, then took an overnight flight to Sydney.

In addition to training and sightseeing, the Gaels will play games against the Manley Warringah Sea Eagles (Aug. 11, 2 p.m.), Wollongong Hawks (Aug 12, 7:30 p.m.), Dandenong Rangers (Aug. 14, 7 p.m.), Melbourne Tigers (Aug. 15, 7:30 p.m.) and Cairns Taipans (Aug. 19, 7 p.m. & Aug. 20, 6:30 p.m.).
