SMC golfers set for NCGA stroke play event

A quintet of Saint Mary’s-related golfers are set to tee-off tomorrow at the annual Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) Amateur Stroke Play Championship in Seaside, Calif.

The 54-hole event will consist of 18 holes per day at the par 72, 7,011-yard Bayonet Golf Course – which also serves as the host course for the annual Saint Mary’s Invitational (Sept. 23-24, 2013).

Head coach Scott Hardy will be joined by assistant coach Jeremy Niederstadt, recent grad Ben Geyer and seniors Cody Robinson and Nick Sako in the 145-player field.
