Gaels raise money for Queensland flood relief

Saint Mary’s College president, Brother Ronald Gallagher, F.S.C., Ph.D., recently presented Australian Consul-General & Senior Trade Commissioner Nigel Warren with just more that $3,500 for disaster relief related to the devastating floods in Queensland.   Initiated by men’s basketball player Clint Steindl and his three Australian teammates, the athletic department accepted donations at three recent basketball games.

The relief efforts continue and if you are interested in donating, please visit this special website setup by the Queensland government.
