In his team’s 87-52 win over Mark Morris last night in Longview, Wash., future Saint Mary’s forward Calvin Hermanson kept scoring… and scoring… and scoring… and scoring. The Lake Oswego (Ore.) High School senior, who signed a National Letter of Intent last month to attend Saint Mary’s on a basketball scholarship, poured-in a school-record 52 points, breaking the school’s scoring record of 50 points previously held by Kevin Love – now of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.
Calvin went 20-of-27 from the field and 8-for-8 from the free throw line. He also registered eight steals in the win.
