Saint Mary’s freshman forward Brad Waldow was selected one of 25 top freshmen among Division I mid-major basketball programs by CollegeInsider.com today.
Waldow, a native of Shingle Springs, Calif., was named by West Coast Conference coaches to the league’s all-freshman team after setting a school record for field goal percentage in his first year of college basketball. He averaged 8.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
