Gaels Lacrosse Ranked 4th In Nation In Caused Turnovers

While the Gaels Lacrosse team has a slim shot at advancing to the MPSF conference tournament, there is still plenty of interest in the upcoming games.  Most notably, the Gaels have a chance to lead the nation in caused turnovers, entering this week ranked 4th in the nation with 11.20 caused turnovers per game.  Georgetown leads the NCAA in caused turnovers with 11.70 per game.

The Gaels moved up the national ranks with a season-high 21 caused turnovers in their last outing against Central Connecticut State.  With another couple performances like that, Saint Mary’s has an excellent shot at leading the nation in the category.

Saint Mary’s is in the midst of a three-week period with no games scheduled until Friday, April 13 when it hosts San Diego State at 4:00 p.m. at Recreation Field.

Come cheer on the Gaels as they take aim for their first conference win of the season against the MPSF newcomer Aztecs.
